Goals

To empower women to become leaders and decision-makers through active participation in political and partisan life and by strengthening their democratic and legal capacities.

Mission

JNFW’s mission is to empower and advance the status of Jordanian women in the political domain through awareness raising, training, and creating a nurturing enabling environment that adopts a participatory democratic approach rooted in the principles of justice and equal opportunities. This ensures that women have an active role and meaningful participation and are fully integrated in political, civic, and public life.

Vision

A future where Jordanian women are leaders and active participants in political and civic life.

Jordanian National Forum for Women

The Jordanian National Forum for Women (JNFW) was founded in 1995 as a non–governmental national grassroots organization chaired by HRH Princess Basma Bint Talal. JNFW is registered with the Ministry of Political Development and Parliamentary Affairs and has 12 branches with many women members representing diverse educational, economic, social and cultural backgrounds. JNFW aims to promote, empower Jordanian women, and enhances their active participation in democratic, political, partisan life, as well as national and local councils at all legislative, administrative, and organizational levels.
